Abstract

Tausende CD-ROM-Titel wurden bisher schon publiziert und täglich werden es mehr. Ob ein Unternehmen den Teilekatalog seiner Produkte oder die Serviceanleitung auf CD-ROM bringt, ein Verlag verschiedene Printmedien auch auf der Scheibe publiziert oder verschiedene Anbieter für den Konsumermarkt unterschiedlichste Produkte auf CD-ROm anbieten, allen Anwendungen ist eins gemeinsam: Sie sind höchstens so gut wie die jeweils eingesetzte Retrievalsoftware. Dabei haben nur solche Retrievalsysteme Zukunftschancen, die dem Anwender das Leben erleichtern und eine Suche nicht noch zusätzlich komplizieren
