Abstract

The archive of the distinguished German statesman Stefan Heym was acquired by Cambridge University Library in 1992, and considerable further material has since nbeen added. Although much sorting, cataloguing and initial conservation work has been carried out, an award from the Leverhulme Trust will now enable a full time archivist to be appointed for 2 years to facilitate the classification and cataloguing of the collection
