Abstract

Da renommierte Fachzeitschriften immer teurer werden und das Angebot ständig wächst, können viele Bibliotheken nur einen Teil davon für ihren Bestand abonnieren. Deshalb halten viele Wissenschaftler das Publizieren in Fachzeitschriften für überholt. Zukünftig sollen elektronische Journale, die über das Internet jederzeit und überall abrufbar sind, die gedruckten Produkte ersetzen
