Abstract
It is no new theory that a classification system is the common denominator of terminology and documentation. Many experts - the best-known being Eugen Wüster - have already developed their theories and ideas on this subject. The first part of this paper describes the different methods of classifying texts and terms - as practiced in the terminology unit of Credit Suisse, a full-service bank which also specializes in bank assurance. The second part illustrates the type of possible links and examines how these links can be created between the two domains
