Abstract

Describes the development of a computer package designed for the loan of toys and equipment by Ravensbourne and Greenwich Toy Libraries, serving these 2 London boroughs. The database holds complete descriptions of items, including purchase data, price and manufacturer, as well as allowing comprehensive loan control and statistical functions. Extra features required by particular libraries can be added: free of charge it it is considered they might also be useful to others. Summarises the software functions in tabular form
