Abstract

Librarians at Penn State University's Pattee Library, have developed Just-in-Time demonstrations to help users learn how to use LEXIS-NEXIS the full text online databases. They are 1 hour long, informal and are offered on a weekly basis. They are designed to deal with searchers' specific question, and introduce features and strategies to improve searching. the sessions have reached a larger number of students and faculty than they could in a more formal seminar setting
