Abstract

Nach einer kurzen historischen Einführung zur Entstehung der Internationalen Patentklassifikation wird der Begriff "Produkt" im Hinblick auf die Gegenstände erläutert, die Grundlage einer patentfähigen Innovation (Erfindung) sein können. Das Einordnungsverfahren derartiger "Produkte" in eine pragmatische technische Klassifikation wird dargestellt. Aufgrund der derzeitigen Benutzung bzw. Anwendung der Internationalen Patentklassifikation wird schließlich die Fortschreibung, Revision und weitere Entwicklung dieser Klassifikation dargestellt
