Sach-Schlagworte in der Schlagwortnormdatei SWD - konfrontiert mit Stichwörtern in Wörterbüchern

Abstract

Die Sach-Schlagworte 'Population ...', 'Populisme ...' aus der SWD werden mit den entsprechenden Stichwörtern aus 'DUDEN: Das große Wörterbuch ... 1-8, 1993' und 'BROCKHAUS: Deutsches Wörterbuch ... 1-6, 1983' verglichen. Es wird vorgeschlagen, die thesaurusartigen Begriffsbeziehungen und die Systematiknotationen in der SWD zu streichen und anstattdessen die fachlichen, stilistischen, zeitlichen und räumlichen Zuordnungen zusammen mit den Bedeutungsangaben aus den genannten Wörterbüchern zu übernehmen. Ein Modell dieser Übernahme wird am Beispiel 'popular ...', 'Population ...', 'Populismus ...' konstruiert
