Abstract: Das multimediale Geschichtskompendium 'Historica' lädt per MAusklick zu einer Reise in die Zeitgeschichte ein. in über 50 Szenarien durchwandert der interessierte Anwender die Geschichte von den Ursprüngen der Menschheit bis zu den jüngsten weltpolitischen Ereignissen. 300 Fotos und Illustrationen, 250 Karten, 100 Biographien, 600 Texte udn 24 Minuten Filmsequenzen laden zu einem ausgiebigen Stöbern in der Vergangenheit ein. Audiovisuelle Einführungen geben mit historischen Karten und Originaldokumenten in jedem Kapitel einen Überblick über geschichtliche Zusammenhänge. Übergreifend informieren zusätzlich die multimedialen Dokumentationen 'Entwicklung der Bevölkerung', 'Entwicklung der Landwirtschaft', 'Geschichte der Schrift' und 'Verbreitung der Weltreligionen'
