Abstract

Der Mythos von der athenischen Demokratie lebt fort. Heute trägt er den Namen Internet; an die modernen Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien knüpfen sich Hoffnungen, daß sich alle Menschen individuell und direkt an der politischen Meinungsbildung und -findung beteiligen können. Jedoch kann auch eine Demokratie auf dem Forum der neuen Medien nicht besser sein als die Bildung, Kompetenz und Bereitschaft zur politischen Aktivität der Bürger
