Abstract
FirstSearch ist ein Referenz-System des US-amerikanischen Datenbankhosts und Bibliotheksverbundes OCLC. Das System ermöglicht einen komfortablen Zugriff auf 60 allgemeine und spezifische Datenbanken zahlreicher Fachgebiete. FirstSearch gestattet dabei die Suche nach bibliographischen Angaben wie nach Abstracts oder Volltexten. Über Internet steht auch hiesigen Bibliotheken dieser bequeme, wenn auch kostenpflichtige Zugang zu mehreren Millionen Titelnachweisen offen
