Wer zunächst vor allem profitiert ist der Kunde. Der Onlinesurfer wird zum Nutznießer des umfassenden Branchenangebotes buch+medien Online. In Deutschland gilt bei Büchern die Presibindung. Dies bedeutet, daß jedes Buch überall gleich viel kosten muß. Daher lassen sich die teilnehmenden Buchandlungen unter buch+medien Online vielfältige Serviceleistungen einfallen, um die Leser im Netz an sich zu binden: Die umfangreiche VLB mit komfortablen Recherchemöglichkeiten ist Standard.
