Abstract

Man muß auf Bewährtes nicht verzichten, wie bei SISIS z.B. auf die umfassende Funktionalität, um den Herausforderungen der Zukunft gerecht zu werden. Aus bibliothekarischer Sicht bedeutet dies u.a. Abwicklung von durchgängigen und integrierten Geschäftsprozessen über Intranet bei leichter Integrierbarkeit neuer Anwendungen und Dienste. Zudem ist der Tatsache Rechnung zu tragen, daß bibliothekarische Dienstleistungen zunehmend integraler Bestandteil Internet-basierter Informationsdienste vom Typ des WWW sein werden
