Abstract
Die EXPO 2000 Hannover GmbH führt die Vorbereitung und Durchführung der Weltausstellung in Hannover im Jahr 2000 durch. Ihre Gesellschafter sind der Bund, ds Land Niedersachsen, die Stadt Hannover sowie eine Beteiligungsgesellschaft der Wirtschaft, in der wichtige Wirtschaftsunternehmen Deutschlands vertreten sind. Unter der Motto 'Mensch, Natur, Technik' werden Ausstellungsbeiträge von ca. 180 Nationen betreut und koordiniert. Während der 5 Monate dauernden Veranstaltungszeit der Weltausstellung werden rund 40 Millionen Besucher aus aller Welt erwartet. Eine der wichtigen Aufgaben der EXPO-Gesellschaft ist es, gemäß rechtlicher Verpflichtungen und entsprechend kultureller Sorgfaltpflichten die Ausstellung zu dokumentieren und zu archivieren
