Abstract

In immer größerem Maße benutzen wir die Online Infrastruktur nicht nur zur Informationsbeschaffung oder -verteilung sowie zum Austausch unverbindlicher Nachrichten und Nettigkeiten. Über diese Kommunikationswege werden auch immer mehr rechtlich relevante Erklärungen abgegeben, Verträge abgeschlossen und bereits auch - zumindest zum Teil - sogleich abgewickelt. Die dabei zur Anwendung kommenden technischen Verfahren sollen auch und gerade dazu beitragen, diese Kommunikation sicher zu machen, und sie sollen vom Recht als zuverlässig anerkannt werden. Dem dienen nicht zuletzt die Verfahren der digitalen Signatur. Beide Themenkomplexe sollen hier kursorich aus rechtlicher Sicht betrachtet werden
