Abstract

Auf den ersten Blick bildet die Region Berlin-Brandenburg eine homogene Einheit. Auf der einen Seite die Regierungshauptstadt, die mitten in Brandenburg liegt. Auf der anderen Seite die aufstrebende Metropole, die zum Teil unter Abwanderungsbewegungen in Richtung des eher strukturschwachen Brandenburg 'leidet'. Der Einsatz einer zeitgemäßen Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik (IKT) fördert die Zusammenarbeit und das Zusammenwachsen beider Bundesländer. Der Beitrag bietet anhand ausgewählter Projekte und Dienstleistungen einen Eindruck über IKT-gestützte Entwicklungen in der Region, vor allem jedoch im Land Brandenburg, wobei wir uns auf weniger bekannte Beispiele konzentrieren wollen
