Abstract

Oualitätsmanagement erfährt im Bereich der Information eine besondere Dimension. Zum einen spielt neben der objektiven Qualität die subjektive Qualität, die allein der Kunde definiert, eine maßgebliche Rolle. Zum anderen ist das Qualitätsmanagement für Datenbankhersteller und -anbieter gerade in Zeiten des Internet ein hervorragendes Marketinginstrument. Der Artikel beleuchtet verschiedene Aspekte des Oualitätsmanagements bei Datenbankherstellern und -anbietern, die seit vielen Jahren immer wieder diskutiert, aber selten als Gesamtpaket, sondern eher als Einzelmaßnahmen gesehen werden..
