Abstract
Neben dem subjektiven Wissen als Quelle aller anderen Wissensformen wird das objektivierte Wissen, das Roboterwissen und das Wissen als abstrakter Bestand behandelt. Die Wissensformen werden unter dem Aspekt ihrer Begründung, ihres physischen Trägers, ihrer Struktur, ihrer Zerlegbarkeit und ihrer Redundanz charakterisiert und verglichen. Die mit der Objektivierung des Wissens verbundenen Darstellungsmittel wie Sprache und Schrift sind sequentielle Medien, die im Gedächtnis gespeicherten Wissenseinheiten sind dagegen nichtsequentiell geordnet. Von der Sprache aus betrachtet ist Wissen propositional. Aus dem Verhältnis von Propositionen und Begriffen leitet sich die Möglichkeit ab, Wissenseinheiten durch Begriffe zu identifizieren und zu recherchieren. Die unbegrenzte Erweiterbarkeit des Begriffsbestandes und des Wissens kann mit dem Kompositionsprinzip beschrieben werden
