Abstract

Seit mehr als 30 Jahren wird versucht, die Durchführung von Managementaufgaben durch computergestützte Informationssysteme zu verbessern. Doch die meisten der bislang entwickelten Ansätze haben mehr versprochen, als sie zu leisten in der Lage waren. Jan Holthuis entwickelt einen Ansatz für eine aufgabenadäquate Datenhaltung in einem Data Warehouse. Dadurch wird eine sinnvolle Integration heterogener managementrelevanter Informationen aus internen und externen Quellen in eine bestehende betriebliche Informationsverarbeitung möglich
