Abstract

Digitale Medien gefährden die Selbstbestimmung des Menschen sowohl unter datenschutz- als auch unter äußerungsrechtlichen Gesichtspunkten. Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit den Gewährleistungen des allgemeinen Persönlichkeitsrechts (Art.2 Abs.1 i.V.m. Art.1 Abs.1 GG) unter den Bedingungen der Informationsgesellschaft. Hierbei werden die Ausprägungen des Persönlichkeitsrechts anhand der Rechtssprechung zu Fallgruppen zusammengefaßt und den neuen Gefährdungspotentialen gegenübergestellt. Die anschließende Erörterung des gegenwärtigen Rechtsrahmens schließt die neuen Multimedia-Gesetze (MDStV und TDG) mit ein. Am Ende der Untersuchung stehen Thesen zum Schutz des Persönlichkeitsrechts in der multimedialen Welt. Ein Entscheidungsregister erhöht den praktischen Nutzwert der Arbeit
