Abstract

Der Aufbau ebenso wie der laufende Betrieb ambitionierter Webportale ist aufwändig und kostenintensiv. Um so nötiger sind regelmäßige Nutzungsanalysen, die sowohl prospektiv den Bedarf neuer Angebote ausloten als auch retrospektiv die inhaltliche und gestalterische Adäquatheit bestehender Strukturen evaluieren. Unter Federführung des Informationszentrums (IZ) Bildung des Deutschen Instituts für Internationale Pädagogische Forschung (DIPF) wurden deshalb in den Jahren 2000 bis Anfang 2004 mit verschiedenen Kooperationspartnern vier entsprechende Nutzungsanalysen realisiert. Deren Ergebnisse hinsichtlich der drei Interessenschwerpunkte 1) wie Nutzer/innen nach Informationen suchen, 2) welcher Instrumente sie sich dabei bedienen und 3) welche Art von Informationen sie suchen, werden ebenso dargestellt wie die Konsequenzen, die im Rahmen der komplexen und untereinander vernetzten Informationsangebote fachportal-paedagogik.de, infoconnex und vascoda gezogen werden.
