Abstract
Verstehensmanagement - das auch noch! Gibt es nicht schon genug Zusammensetzungen mit Management? Indessen: Auch in Verbindung mit "Verstehen" weist das Wort in die gewollte Richtung: Auf der einen Seite soll ein Instrumentarium so erstellt und auf dem laufenden gehalten werden, so "gemanagt" werden, daß es Fachwissen in Fachtexten verständlicher machen kann. Auf der anderen Seite sollen sich die Nutzer des Systems bei verschiedenem Vorwissen und verschiedener Art zu lernen jene Werkzeuge des Instrumentariums aussuchen können, die ihnen am besten passen, um mit ihrer Hilfe Unverstandenes in Fachtexten zu verstehen, d. h. die Nutzer sollen ihr Verstehen selbst steuern, selbst "managen" können. Fachtexte verständlicher machen - verständlicher für wen? Verständlicher für Experten, denn kaum ein Experte kennt sich heute noch in seiner eigenen Disziplin ganz aus, geschweige denn in Nachbardisziplinen. Verständlicher für Neulinge einer Disziplin, die sich ins Studium oder in den Betrieb einarbeiten. Verständlicher schließlich für Fachfremde einer Disziplin, die beruflich mit den Experten dieser Disziplin zusammenarbeiten müssen, entweder auf verschiedenen Ebenen eines Unternehmens oder aus anderen Betrieben, Disziplinen, Ländern, Kulturen; verständlicher auch für Fachfremde, die aus irgendeinem Grund mehr von einer Sache verstehen wollen. Wissensmanagement, so wie es oft "verstanden" wird, genügt nicht. Wissensmanagement muß auf das Verstehen unterschiedlicher Gruppen ausgerichtet sein. Wissensmanagement braucht Verstehensmanagement.
