Abstract
Ziel des Artikels ist es zu zeigen, wie Pasks Konzept der "proto-language" die begriffliche Repräsentation und Organisation von Wissen durch formale begriffliche Netze ermög licht und dadurch als Grundlage für Entscheidungsprozesse fungieren kann. Die systematische Reduktion der Komplexität begrifflichen Wissens wird als Voraussetzung für das Verstehen der Bedeutung spezifischer Propositionen definiert, die von befragten Personengruppen geäußert werden. Erst durch das Verstehen spezifischer Themen und Probleme auf Basis des Wissens der betroffenen Personen selbst, lassen sich transparente und nachvollziehbare Entscheidungen treffen. In diesem Artikel wird ein kurzer Überblick über das Konzept der "proto-language" und deren Anwendung in der Methode GABEK gegeben. Es wird die Bedeutung von begrifflichen Netzwerken für die Organisation und Repräsentation von Wissen erläutert. Abschließend wird der Gestaltenbaum als ein bei einer Datenanalyse nach der Methode GABEK und seiner Computerimplementierung WinRelan entstehendes Netzwerk von Wissen hinsichtlich seiner Bedeutung für den Einsatz bei Management-Entscheidungen erläutert.
