Abstract

Seit Sommer 2004 bietet das "Portal Informationswissenschaft" Zugriff auf Bücher, Inhaltsverzeichnisse, Aufsätze und Websites. Es ist eine Initiative von DGI und AGI, Volltextbestände bereitzustellen. Die Lösung basiert auf dem Produktionssystem intelligentCAPTURE, das maschinell indexiert der Search Engine intelligentSEARCH und dem Thesaurusentwicklungs- und Übersetzungsprogramm IC INDEX. Derzeit erfassen Studentinnen der FH in Eisenstadt (Österreich) Inhalte von DGI, Kongressen, Messen, Homepages von Wissenschaftlern und andere Websites. Dabei unterstützt der Thesaurus InfoData aus Potsdam das Retrieval und bald auch, nach einer inhaltlichen Modernisierung, die maschinelle Indexierung. Zusätzlich stehen Thesaurusarbeiten aus der FH Köln zur Verfügung.
