Abstract
Für Bibliotheken stellt sich zunehmend die Frage, welchem Medium bei Wörterbüchern der Vorzug gegeben werden soll. Um diese Frage zu klären, werden zunächst unterschiedliche Typen von Wörterbüchern in elektronischer Form dargestellt und auf ihre Funktionalitäten hin untersucht. Es schließt sich eine Nutzerbefragung an, die aufzeigt, dass Studierende verschiedener Fächer und Wissenschaftler ein unterschiedliches Nutzerverhalten haben, welches direkt mit den Fragestellungen ihrer Arbeit und den Funktionalitäten der Wörterbücher korreliert.
