Abstract

PDF-Dokumente können ein Zugänglichkeitsproblem darstellen. Um barrierefreie PDF-Dokumente zu erzeugen, kommt es zunächst auf die Verwendung von "tagged PDF" an, die das Lesen von PDF in alternativen Ausgabemedien wie Sereenreadern oder bei individuellen Anforderungen an die visuelle Darstellung ermöglicht. "Tagged PDF" sollte bei der Dokumentengestaltung von vornherein berücksichtigt werden; eine spätere Anpassung kann sehr aufwendig sein.
