Abstract

Um den steigenden Anforderungen an eine komplexe Informationsversorgung besser gerecht werden zu können, müssen die bisher dominierenden Literaturnachweis- und Fakten-Recherchesysteme zu wissensbasierten Systemen weiterentwickelt werden. Dazu bedarf es detaillierter Analysen der benutzeranforderungen sowie der funktionalen Anforderungen, auf denen die Systemarchitektur beruht. Kernstück des hier vorgestellten Konzepts sind Überlegungen zur einheitlichen Wissensmodellierung in einem System, das integrierte Informationsdienstleistungen aus (und über) teilweise sehr unterschiedlichen buchhistorischen Quellen ermöglicht. Ausführlich erörtert werden das Erschließungsmodell und die Datenbankstrukturierung
