Abstract

Diese Aktionslinie bildet einen Teil der Maßnahme "Langfristarchivierung digitaler Publikationen" des Strategiepapiers "Wissenschaftliche Literaturversorgungsund Informationssysteme. Schwerpunkte der Förderung bis 2015". Die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft trägt als zentrale Selbstverwaltungseinrichtung der Wissenschaft eine besondere Verantwortung für den Erhalt, die Pflege und die Gewährleistung des langfristigen Zugriffs auf wissenschaftlich relevante digitale Inhalte. Um die Verfügbarkeit dieser Inhalte auf Dauer zu gewährleisten, bedarf es nicht nur nachnutzbarer technischer Lösungen, sondern auch tragfähiger organisatorischer, rechtlicher und finanzieller Modelle, die in einer Strategie für die Langzeitarchivierung in Einklang gebracht werden müssen.
