"Im Rahmen des BVÖ-Kongresses mit VÖB-Beteiligung in Linz und des VÖB-Kongresses in Krems werden wir heuer zwei öffentlich zugängliche Kommissionssitzungen mit interessanten Gastvorträgen abhalten. Zur ersten dieser beiden KofSE-Veranstaltungen erwarten wir Vortragende aus Köln und aus Konstanz. Jessica HUBRICH, die das CrissCross-Team leitet, gibt einen Werkstattbericht über dieses, die multilingual-verbale Ebene von Inhaltserschließung mit der klassifikatorischen Ebene verbindende, weit fortgeschrittene Projekt, das eine erfreuliche Folgeerscheinung der Projekte MACS und DDC Deutsch ist. Armin KÜHN vom BSZ Baden-Württemberg wird über Sacherschließung und Normdatenpflege im Südwestverbund (SWB) berichten, wo sich ein ausgeprägtes Fachredaktionsmodell sehr gut bewährt. Mit diesem Vortrag setzen wir unsere Serie von Beiträgen über die SE-Praxis anderer Verbünde im deutschen Sprachraum fort. Er bietet gleichzeitig Gelegenheit, einen Blick in das bei uns wenig bekannte System PICA zu machen. Unsere Sitzung findet am Mittwoch, dem 14. Mai 2008 statt. Der Veranstaltungsort innerhalb von Linz stand vor Redaktionsschluss noch nicht fest."
