Abstract

Ein Instrumentarium zur Analyse von Texten. Dieser Band präsentiert unterschiedliche Konzepte, die innerhalb der Semiotik im Lauf ihrer Geschichte und vor allem in den letzten Jahrzehnten entwickelt wurden und die für das Verständnis von Texten fruchtbar gemacht werden können. Vollis Hauptanliegen ist es, einen "semiotischen Werkzeugkasten" bereitzustellen. Seine besondere Leistung besteht darin, dass es ihm gelingt, die verschiedenen Verfahren der einzelnen semiotischen Richtungen in einer komplexen aber einheitlichen Analysemethode zu bündeln.
