Abstract

Durch die Auswirkungen der weltweiten Finanzkrise sieht sich eine Vielzahl von Unternehmen gezwungen, Rationalisierungsmaßnahmen vorzunehmen. Der vorliegende Artikel thematisiert, inwieweit auch Informationsvermittlungsstellen (IVS) davon betroffen sind und welchen Stellenwert sie in deutschen Unternehmensberatungen einnehmen. Die Grundlage hierfür bilden die Auskünfte von 27 Consulting-Unternehmen verschiedener Größenklassen. Als Ergebnis der Untersuchung kann festgehalten werden, dass IVS auf der einen Seite einen nicht unbedeutenden Beitrag zur Wertschöpfung einer Unternehmensberatung leisten, andererseits aber stärker denn je um ihre Daseinsberechtigung kämpfen müssen, zumal sich die Herausforderungen und Ansprüche erheblich verändert haben.
