Abstract
Primo soll als One-Stop-Shop einen Bestandsnachweis über mehrere eigenständige Datenquellen hinweg bieten und die Recherche in gedruckten und elektronischen Resourcen unter einer Oberfläche ermöglichen. Durch die Vewendung von Suchmaschinentechnologie erhält der/die BenutzerIn sehr schnelle ine Trefferliste, die ihm/ihr - unter Ausnutzung der Vorteile von strukturierten Daten - vielfältige Möglichkeiten zum Browsen in sowie zur Verfeinerung von Suchergebnissen bietet. ... Primo in der Version 2 kann den OPAC noch nicht ersetzen, er wird für die exemplaranzeige, die Bestellung von Werken, sowie für die Anzeige des Aleph-Benutzerkontos benötigt. Ab Promo Version 3 sind diese OPAC-Funktionalitäten in die Primo-Oberfläche integriert.
