Abstract
In den letzten Monaten haben sich viele Menschen gemeldet, die in ihrer Jugend Opfer sexuellen Missbrauchs geworden sind. Für einige Mediziner sind Pädophile krank und daher nur vermindert schuldfähig. Dies hat jetzt auch Philosophen auf den Plan gerufen. Sind Menschen Herr ihrer Willens? Hätten sie anders handeln können, als sie tatsächlich gehandelt haben? Und wenn nicht, wie steht es dann mit Verantwortung, Schuld und Strafe? Der Medizinethiker Edgar Dahl äußert sich zu diesem brisanten Konflikt. Der Berliner Philosoph Michael Pauen antwortet auf Dahls Thesen.

Wir brauchen nicht nur objektive Normen für das, was erlaubt und nicht erlaubt ist - sondern auch dafür, unter welchen Bedingungen wir jemanden belangen, wenn er wtas Unerlaubtes getan hat].
