Abstract
Wikipedia und Bibliotheken haben das gleiche Ziel: die einfache und schnelle Wissensvermittlung. Mit der Vernetzung der unterschiedlichen Informationsangebote im Internet wird Wissen umfassend zugänglich gemacht. Ein Beispiel für die Vernetzung zwischen Wikipedia und Bibliothekskatalogen ist die Kooperation mit der Personennamendatei, der Normdatei für Personennamen. Der Artikel möchte beleuchten, wie diese Kooperation funktioniert und welchen Nutzen sie hat.
