Abstract
Wir sind sowohl in unserem "offline" als auch in unserem "online" Alltag von einer Vielzahl von Wissensorganisationssystemen umgeben. Die Komplexität diese Systeme steigt mit dem Umfang und der Heterogenität der Informationen, die (wieder)gefunden werden sollen. In diesem Beitrag werden unterschiedliche Wissensorganisationssysteme beschrieben und gegenübergestellt. Für die Modellierung dieser Systeme wird ein generisches Verfahren vorgestellt, das für alle geschilderten Wissensorganisationssysteme geeignet ist. Ergänzt wird diese Methode durch die Darstellung der persönlichen Nutzung von Wissensorganisationssystemen.
