Abstract

Im Laufe des Frühjahrs 2003 hat, die Datenbank ZMATH des Zentralblatts für Mathematik ihr bisheriges Informationsangebot über Mathematikliteratur über das Jahr 1931 hinaus rückwärtig bis 1868 erweitert. Mit diesem für den Nutzer einzigartigen Angebot können über ein einziges Suchrnenu Literaturhinweise zu sämtlichen relevanten mathematischen Publikationen aus einem Zeitraum von mehr als 135 Jahren recherchiert werden. Damit wird einer fundamentalen Anforderung in der Mathematik-Information Rechnung getragen: Mathematische Ergebnisse haben kein Verfallsdatum.
