Abstract
Der Standard SRU Update ermöglicht das Arbeiten in der lokalen Datenbank und im überregionalen Nachweissystem unter einer Oberfläche. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschreibt den Nutzen und das Potential einer im Lokalsystem integrierten Schnittstelle am Beispiel des Deutschen Literaturarchiv Marbachs. Dabei richtet sich der Blick auch auf die zukünftigen Entwicklungen in der deutschsprachigen Informationslandschaft.
