Abstract

Das Projekt "Cloudbasierte Infrastruktur für Bibliotheksdaten" (CIB) der deutschen Bibliotheksverbünde HeBIS, BVB und KOBV zielt auf eine Reform der hergebrachten Arbeitsteilung von lokalem Bibliotheksmanagementsystem und regionalem Verbundsystem. An ihre Stelle tritt die weitgehende Verlagerung von Katalogisierung und Lokalsystemfunktionen in internationale Plattformen. Der Aufsatz stellt die Kernelemente dieses Vorhabens dar und beschreibt den aktuellen Entwicklungsstand des Projektes.
