Abstract
Mit dem Beschluss des Standardisierungsausschusses vom Mai 2012, den Standard Resource Description and Access (RDA) im deutschsprachigen Raum einzuführen, wurde eine Arbeitsgruppe RDA für die kooperative Durchführung der Implementierung in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz eingerichtet. Diese Arbeitsgruppe hat nun einen aktualisierten Gesamtzeitplan für das RDA-Projekt vorgelegt, dem der Standardisierungsausschuss im Oktober 2013 einstimmig zugestimmt hat. Einzelne Arbeitspakete wurden neu berechnet und die Gesamtlaufzeit des Projekts wurde um ein halbes Jahr verlängert. Die Normdaten der Gemeinsamen Normdatei (GND) werden nun ab Juli 2014 nach RDA erfasst und die Katalogisierung für den Bereich der Titeldaten wird Ende des Jahres 2015 beginnen.
