Das Kultbuch des renommierten Nationalökonomen und intellektuellen Gegenspielers von John Maynard Keynes. Verlagsbeschreibung dieser Ausgabe: Kommen Sozialisten wieder an die Macht? Sozialistische Utopien werden im Westen immer populärer. Die Debatte, Immobilienbesitzer zu enteignen, ist bereits im Bundestag angekommen. Der SPD-Politiker und Bundesvorsitzende der Jusos, Kevin Kühnert, sowie Robert Habeck, Bundesvorsitzender der Grünen, sehen staatliche Enteignungen von privatem Immobilienbesitz als legitim an. Umfragen bestätigen, dass sozialistische Utopien auch in der Bevölkerung immer beliebter werden. Die Zahlen sind teilweise erschreckend. Nie war Hayeks Sozialismuskritik wichtiger als heute! »Für viele >Gutmenschen< gelten Friedrich August Hayeks Thesen als Provokation: Nicht nur Faschismus und Sozialismus, sondern auch der westliche Wohlfahrtsstaat seien Gefahren für die Freiheit«, so zitiert der Deutschlandfunk Hayek. Der liberale Ökonom legte dar, »dass Sozialismus und Faschismus im Kern gleichermaßen den Weg in die Knechtschaft ebnen: Beide zielen auf die Zerstörung von Markt, Privateigentum, Demokratie und persönlicher Freiheit. Beide laufen auf ähnlich totalitäre Beherrschung der Gesellschaft durch eine politische Elite hinaus.« »Heute ist Hayeks Der Weg zur Knechtschaft längst ein Klassiker unter den frühen Warnungen vor einem schleichenden Totalitarismus.« Deutschlandfunk Bezeichnend ist auch, dass Hayeks Buch nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg zu einem internationalen Bestseller wurde - nur im besetzten Deutschland durfte das Buch nicht verkauft werden. Die Besatzungsmächte verboten die Lektüre! Unterschätzen Sie die Gefahr des Sozialismus nicht!
