Abstract
Antje Michel hat in der letzten Ausgabe von Open Password die Bedeutung der wissenskulturellen Perspektive für das Verständnis von Informationskompetenz begründet. In diesen Beitrag geht es nun darum, wie diese Perspektive in die Praxis einbezogen werden kann. Doch bevor näher auf dieses "Wie" eingegangen wird, zunächst einmal zwei Klärungen zum "Ob überhaupt". Dabei beziehe ich mich auf die Beiträge innerhalb und außerhalb dieser Reihe, die dies eher kritisch sehen. Erstens frage ich, ob Informationskompetenz überhaupt vermittelt werden /kann,/ und zweitens, ob sie überhaupt vermittelt werden /soll/.
