Abstract

'Remote control' programs allow users to dial into and use a PC from a location away from their office. Examines what is involved in setting up a PC as a 'mini host' and introduces a freeware remote control program to get started. Discusses the PC as a host; commercial products; the PC remote utility and how to use it; configuring the host and the caller and remote booting
