Abstract

Beitrag ist die komprimierte Überarbeitung von Seminarunterlagen für eine im September 1993 geplante, wegen einer plötzlichen Erkrankung des Co-Referenten leider abgesetzte Fortbildungsveranstaltung von AKRIBIE. Themen sind die (umfangreichen) Benutzerkomponenten, die Datex-J zur Verfügung stellt und von denen die dargestellten Auskunfts- und Informationssysteme lediglich einen schmalen Ausschnitt der Leistungsfähigkeit dieses Dienstes darstellen. Gezeigt wird, wie die aufliegenden Informationen strukturiert sind, wie man bestimmte Grundfunktionen anwählt oder welche Seitennummern in der Dialogführung besonders wichtig sind. Aus dem äußerst heterogenen und nicht leicht durchschaubaren Angebot illustrieren wir Ihnen dann aus verschiedenen Sachbereichen einige exemplarische und aktuelle Informations-beispiele dieses elektronischen Mediums. Eine Literaturauswahl, ein Hinweis auf online- und offline-Datenbanken und die Vorstellung eines für den professionellen Umgang mit Datex-J wichtigen Current-Contents-Dienst beschließen den text
