Abstract
Das Image pflegen oder aufbauen, Experimente machen und Erfahrungen sammeln, die Leser-Blatt-Bindung fördern und das Printprodukt stärken, den Anschluß an den Wettbewerb halten und die Weichen zum modernen Medienkonzern stellen, ein lukratives Nebengeschäft machen oder bloße 'Abfallverwertung' betreiebn, den Fuß in der Tür oder schon über die Schwelle - die Gründe der zeitungs- und Zeitschriftenverleger, sich im wieder einmal neuen Geschäftsfeld des Elektronischen Publizierens in seinen diversen Spielarten zu betätigen, sind vielfältig. Und die Aktivitäten reichen vom einfachen Faxversand redaktioneller Informationen auf Anfrage bis hin zum Online-Angebot kompletter Zeitungszeiten in Farbe und inklusive aller Bilder, Grafiken und Piktogramme. Unser Beitrag zeigt den derzeitigen Stand des elektronischen Presse-Angebots auf und faßt die Überlegungen einiger Hersteller (Verlage) und Anbieter (Hosts) zu künftigen Entwicklung der 'Medienunternehmen im Informationsmarkt' zusammen
