Abstract

Für weltweites Furore sorgte im letzten Jahr die Premiere der elektronischen Medien in Halle 1.1 der Frankfurter Buchmesse. Daneben rief sie aber auch Kulturpessimisten auf den Plan, die das Ende der Gutenberg-Galaxis in düsteren Farben an die Wand malten. In diesem Jahr fällt auf, wie selbstverständlich sich Fach- und Publikumsbesucher bereits mit dem dynamischen Zukunftsmarkt beschäftigen. Geballt in Halle 1.1, aber auch an vielen anderen Ständen über die gesamte Messe verteilt, drängten sich Menschen vor den Bildschirmen, fasziniert von den Möglichkeiten der neuen Medien
