Abstract

Es ist ein mutiges Unterfangen, mit einem relationalen Entwicklungssystem ein Retrievalsystem zu realisieren. Denn das Verwalten und die Suche nach textlicher Information ist nicht gerade die Stärke der Relationalen Datenbanksysteme. Nachdem im ersten Teil die Konzeption des Retrievalsystems im Vordergrund stand, geht es in diesem zweiten und abschließenden Teil um Aspekte der prototypischen Realisierung. Der Beitrag macht insbesondere deutlich, wieviel aufwendige Kleinarbeit für die Erfassung von Volltexten nötig ist
