Abstract

Nach einer kursorischen Betrachtung der gegenwärtig in der Bundesrepublik angewendeten Methoden zur inhaltlichen Erschließung von Dokumenten werden die speziellen Probleme der Inhaltserschließung in den geplanten Fachinformationssystemen und den Informationssystemen mit besonderer Zweckbestimmung erläutert. Dabei zeigt sich die ganze Breite der fach-, benutzer-, zweck- und dokumentspezifischen Bedarfspalette mit dem Instrumentarium, das zur Befriedigung dieses Bedarfs benötigt wird. Es werden Bedingungen und Vorgaben erörtert, die sich aus der internationalen Zusammenarbeit ergeben und durch entsprechende Sachzwänge die Harmonisierung und Vereinheitlichung der Inhaltsanalyse im nationalen Rahmen beeinflussen
