Abstract

Für Outsourcing im Bereich der Informationsvermittlung lassen sich mehrere Einsatzstrategien identifizieren. Ziel aller mit Outsourcing der Informationsdienstleistung verbundenen Überlegungen ist letztlich die aufgabenadäquate Deckung des Informationsbedarfs des Unternehmens und die wirtschaftliche Organisation der Informationsversorgung. Dabei müssen aktuelle Bedürfnisse ebenso berücksichtigt werden wie langfristige Entwicklungen und strategische Zielsetzungen. Aufgrund der dynamischen Entwicklung der Umwelt verändern sich laufend der Informationsbedarf und die technischen und organisatorischen Möglichkeiten der Informationsbeschaffung-, verarbeitung und -bereitstellung. Eine regelmäßige Überprüfung der organisationellen Einbettung der Informationsvermittlungsfunktion sollte daher integraler Bestandteil eines umfassenden Informationscontrolling sein
