Abstract

The UNESCO developed CDS/ISIS information system being distributed throughout the world by a network of distributors who provide system support, i.e. training courses, consultations, manuals and who also run user groups. Explains the role of and services provided by the Scientific and Technical Information Centre of the Slovak Technical Library which has been the UNESCO authorised distributor of CDS/ISIS since the declaration of an independent Slovakia
