Abstract

Describes the development of an Online Contents database and Excerpta Informatica ny Tilburg University in the Netherlands as well as a cooperative project with Elsevier Science Publishers: Computer Aided Production for Current Awareness Service. Discusses a pilot project conducted jointly by Tilburg University and Elsevier Science Publishers for the electronic storage and full text delivery of 114 Elsevier journals to which the library subscribes. Describes goals of the project and sets out the reasons why this is such an important experiment from the library's point of view
